- You can trade directly with another player. Click them and pick “Trade” — if they accept, a window opens with both sides of the table. Each of you puts items from your backpack and as much gold as you like on your own half, and both of you see both offers as they change. The exchange only happens once both sides accept.
- Nobody can swap the goods on you at the last second. Any change to either offer — adding an item, taking one back, editing the gold — immediately clears both acceptances. If the other person touches anything after you accepted, your approval is gone and you have to confirm again, looking at the new offer.
- While trading you both stand still, and items on the table cannot be dropped, equipped or sold in the meantime. Walking too far apart, dying or disconnecting calls the trade off — nothing is lost, because your goods never leave your own backpack until the exchange goes through.
